Per news clipping in 1912-17 Art Exhibit scrapbook, the sculpture was purchased by Mrs. Day in Italy; copy of original by Antonio Canova,1946 gift of Mrs. Addison Parker in memory of Mrs. John Day who loaned it to the club in 1916-17.
