Antique desk.

Yellow wood, pull-down leaf, serpentine base, three lone drawers. Elaborate inlay, choice handmade small cabinet and four drawers inside desk section.

Donor identified desk as made in Italy of yew wood and about 400 years old (circa 16th century), however, Art Historian Estill Pennington believes it to be Bavarian because of the crispness of the line and made of walnut burl, circa 1750. Wood furniture.
